Hey, my name is Bogdan and i am from Russia. I was in world war one. I am going to tell you a little bit about Russia. Russia is involved in world war one because Germany declared war on Russia. Russia was in the triple alliance. Russia asked France to help and they gave them full support. Austri declared war against serbia, thats when russia joined the war. Serbia and the ally of Russia was attacked and accused of assassination by Austira Hungary.
After the assassination of the Archduke, Austria sent Serbia an ultimatum or final set of demands. Serbia didnt meet up to all of those demands so Austria declared war on Serbia. Germany gave full support of help to Austria-Hungary. Serbia had to seek for help so they sought help from Russia and then Russia began to mobilize thier troops.
Our nation got together and came up with a battle plan for the war. We decided to build trenches around the battle field so we could dominate our enemy. We also decided to have the most powerful guns, like machine guns, bombs, and the the biggest cannon. We had the machine guns so when the enemy tried to get out of there trenches we would just fire the machine gun. The machine gun was the most Affected gun in world war one.
This propaganda poster is aiming for and about how russia is going to take over. How russia is going to kill everyone and just dominate and win the war. We made this poster because we knew we was going to win with us and France. This was prabably one of our best poster we made. We almost backed up everything we said on this poster and what it meant.
When we exited the war and the USA entered it didnt really affect us because we was already out of the war and had no business what was going on at the war. We knew when we exited though that we couldnt win. When we left France was still in the war. France did not exit the war with us. I really didnt care what went on at the war. I dont think that the whole russian military cared because we really just wanted to get back home and see our family and friends.
When christmas came around it was the most amazing thing ever. British had christmas trees and chinese lanterns along the German front line. It was amazing to watch because you would see German troops go over to the british's line saying "hello! I want to talk to you." Small groups of enemy soldiers would drink and have a toast. They would all exchange gives such as chocolate and jam.
We wasnt really involved much into the treaty. Russia was not going to get affacted by it. We already out of the war even before that treaty was made. Germany had to sign a paper called the Treaty of Versailles. Germany ended up paying for all those damages and they had to pay around 30 billion dollars for all of the damages. At the end of it, Germany wasnt aloud to have a big and strong military like they did. Germany wasnt so good after that treaty. I just couldnt wait to get back home to my family and friends!
